Thinking of all the birthdays we celebrated with you on this day. I still celebrate the day because it will always be the date you were born, but now I also miss you more than words can express.

I remember one winter when Justin was a baby that Karl and I came to visit you & Jason. A big snowstorm hit when we got there and we were all stranded at your house for 4 days. Leigh was there too. I just remember all the fun we had. One night we were going stir crazy and we all went outside and pulled each other around on a big tire or intertube or something in the snow. We were laughing and having such a great time! Justin slept through the whole thing! Even though we were all crammed together for all that time and couldn't even go anywhere and had to sleep in the living room, I have such great memories of that. It always brings a smile whenever I think about it.
I remember when you were pregnant with Justin and Jason had to work 3rd shift. I stayed at your house every night, just in case you went into labor. We used to play hearts for hours, and just talk and laugh and have such a good time. One night we were certain you were in labor, so we called Jason and off we went to the hospital. It turned out not to be the real thing but I believe it was about a week later & your water broke, all over the couch cushions. You were in labor forever, and I decided then & there never to have kids (although I obviously changed my mind). You were such a great mama, and you loved Justin and Tori so much! I know that you must still be there looking out for them. I love you!!
I think this was in 1987 or so. We were all at Mom, Keara & Leigh's house. Grandma & Grandpa were visiting and so were Wayne, Karl & Lauren.
Keara & Leigh were the bridesmaids in my wedding and they both looked so beautiful in their dresses. In our wedding video you can see Leigh fidgeting all over the place and it turned out that she had a spider on her! Keara caught my bouquet and sure enough she was the next one to get married when she & Jason got married 6 months later.
